Description:

Fishing at Camp Timber Lake is quite exciting with a total of three lakes from which to fish. Shore fishing is always open, or you can rent a boat for the day and get away from it all. Own your own boat? You're in luck with our newly installed boat ramp! There's sure to be the right spot for you and your family to relax and enjoy the experience.

These lakes are stocked with a variety of fish including Bass, Bluegill, Catfish, Crappie, Redear and Perch. You can't go wrong choosing Camp Timber Lake for your Fishing. Also be sure to stop in our new Office and Camp store/Bait shop for a refreshing drink, snack or extra bait. All the big ones are at Camp Timber Lake so make plans to visit us today! We also have a pavilion available for rent.

Camp Timber Lake has the most secluded pristine camping to be found anywhere. By summer 2004, Camp Timber Lake will boast 60 campsites, 15 of them will be Class AA (EWS), 35 Class A (EW) and 10 Primitive campsites. There will be enough camping for you and your neighbors to come and enjoy together. Most of the campsites are well wooded and have breath taking views of our 9 acre lake, surrounded by native woods.Trail to Lake

Directions
:

From Huntington:

Go east on US 24 to Old Fort Wayne Road.
Turn Left and drive approximately 2.5 miles to CR 675 North
Turn Right on CR 675 N and proceed to the
Camp Timber Lake entrance on the left.

From Ft. Wayne

Take US 24 to CR 750 North (Econoasis Convenience Store) Turn Right.
Proceed approximately 2 miles to Old Fort Wayne Road,
Turn Left and go about 3/4 mile to CR 675 N.
Turn Left on CR 675 N and proceed to the
Camp Timber Lake entrance on the left.
 

From Columbia City

Take SR 9 South to Huntington County Road 700 North.
Turn Left and proceed approximately 2 3/4 miles to Old Ft. Wayne Road.
Turn Right and travel about 1/4 mile to CR 675 N.
Turn Left on CR 675 N and proceed to the
Camp Timber Lake entrance on the left.
